About CCCE 2

Computational chemistry uses of computers in attempts to solve chemical problems. It uses theoretical methods implemented in software for computations. At the outset of the 21st century, computational chemistry is leading to a wide range of possibilities usually interdisciplinary due to explosive increase in computer power and software capabilities.

Computational chemistry is also integrating the chemistry curriculum.

The CCCE workshop is held as part of the International Conference on Chemical Education (ICCE).

The first CCCE workshop was successful in the 21st ICCE which was held in Taipei, Taiwan, 8th to 13th August 2011.

The second workshop will be held as part of the 22nd ICCE and 11th International Conference on Research in Chemical Education to be held in Rome, Italy, 15th to 20th July 2012.
